San Clemente, CA. – Nelson Partners, LLC, a national Student Housing, Property Management and DST 1031 real estate company, announced today that Barrie Nichols has joined the company as Senior VP of Sales and Marketing.
Ms. Nichols is responsible for developing and managing social media and marketing strategies, leasing goals, and related budgets for Nelson Partners.
Prior to joining Nelson Partners, Ms. Nichols held the position of Vice President of Leasing and Marketing with Michaels Management, Student Living. Ms. Nichols has an impressive resume including Campus Apartments where she was responsible of the oversight of nationwide leasing and marketing for over 31,000 beds, for both on and off campus projects, valued in excess of $ 2 billion. She worked directly with on-site personnel in twenty-seven different states.
Ms. Nichols had also held the position of Senior Vice President of Sales and Leasing with GMH Communities Trust. During her tenure with GMH, she achieved 96% plus average occupancy on a portfolio valued in excess of $1.5 billion.
Ms. Nichols holds her Digital Marketing Certification from Cornell University, Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), a Langevin Trainer, a 2017-2018 NAA Student Advisory Board Member, and also a USF MUMA College of Business Digital Advisory Board Member in 2018-2019, Modern Message Advisory Board Member 2019-2020.
